  • Carbon Hollywood Laser Facial Pre-Care

    For the safest treatment and best results, please follow these pre-care instructions:

    • Arrive with clean skin, free from heavy makeup, fake tan and skincare products where possible.

    • Avoid sun exposure, tanning and sunburn for 2 weeks before treatment, and wear SPF 50+ daily.

    • Stop using retinol, tretinoin, adapalene and other vitamin A products 5–7 days prior.

    • Avoid exfoliating acids (AHAs, BHAs, PHAs), scrubs and active skincare for 3–5 days before your appointment.

    • Do not wax, thread, dermaplane or use depilatory creams on the treatment area for 5–7 days beforehand.

    • Allow at least 2 weeks after anti-wrinkle injections and 4 weeks after dermal filler before treatment.

    • Let us know if you have a history of cold sores, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have recently taken isotretinoin (Accutane), are taking photosensitising medications, or have recently had chemical peels, skin needling or other laser treatments.

    • Stay well hydrated before your appointment.
