LaAdvanced Laser Eyebrow Tattoo Removal in Rolleston, Christchurch
With over 11 years of experience in the industry, we understand that not every brow tattoo ages as beautifully as we once hoped. Pigment can change colour over time, brows can become saturated, shapes may no longer suit your facial features, and previous cosmetic tattoo work may not reflect the result you want today.
At Belle Amour Studio, I specialise in Pico Laser Brow Tattoo Removal in Christchurch, using advanced Pico laser technology with the best laser wavelengths to target unwanted cosmetic tattoo pigment and progressively break it down, allowing your body to naturally eliminate the fragmented particles.
Our Pico Laser technology can treat a wide range of concerns.
There are many reasons you might consider laser brow tattoo removal, especially if your previous cosmetic tattoo no longer suits your style, colouring or facial features:
Unwanted pigment changes: Brows that have faded into unwanted red, orange, grey, blue or ashy tones.
Oversaturated brows: Previous tattooing that has become too dark, dense or block-like over time.
Outdated brow shapes: An old brow design that no longer complements your natural features or preferred style.
Previous poor-quality work: Uneven, asymmetrical or poorly executed cosmetic tattooing.
Multiple layers of pigment: Repeated touch-ups resulting in heavy pigment build-up and loss of definition.
Migration or blurring: Pigment that has spread beyond the original tattooed area, especially with years of Microblading.
A change in personal style: Wanting a softer, more natural-looking brow rather than a heavily tattooed appearance.
Preparing for new brows: Lightening existing pigment to create a better foundation for fresh Nano Brows, Combination Brows or Ombre Brows.
Starting fresh: Simply wanting to return to your natural brows without previous cosmetic tattoo pigment.
YOUR BROW REMOVAL JOURNEY
Whether you're looking to lighten old, saturated brows, correct unwanted pigment tones, soften an outdated shape or completely remove previous cosmetic tattooing, your journey begins with an individual assessment.
Every set of brows is different. Pigment composition, depth, colour, skin condition and previous tattooing techniques all influence how the pigment responds to laser treatment. My approach is to assess your brows carefully and develop a treatment plan suited to your individual needs.
Laser brow tattoo removal is often a progressive process, with multiple sessions required to achieve your desired level of lightening or removal. My priority is to work carefully, safely and strategically while respecting the condition of your skin.
Timeframes:
First and second session will be done 4 weeks apart (we treat greys/browns/blacks on the first sessions) then go in with different wavelengths for reds and lighter tones
Third and forth sessions (only if needed) will be 4-6 weeks apart
Re-tattoo must be done 2-3 months after your final laser sessions
Saline/Glycolic tattoo removal may be needed on leftover yellow/stubborn yellow tones
Investment:
$160 A SESSION FOR LASER BROW REMOVAL
HOW MANY LASER TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Every brow tattoo is different, which means there is no one-size-fits-all number of treatments. The number of Pico laser sessions required will depend on several factors, including the age of the tattoo, pigment composition, colour, depth, saturation and how your individual body responds to laser treatment.
Some clients may achieve their desired level of lightening within 1 - 3 sessions, while more heavily saturated, layered or stubborn cosmetic tattoos may require 4 - 5+ sessions.
FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE YOUR RESULTS
Pigment colour: Different pigment colours respond differently to laser wavelengths.
Pigment depth: Deeper pigment deposits may require additional treatments.
Saturation: Heavily layered or repeatedly tattooed brows generally require more sessions.
Age of the tattoo: Older tattoos may have already experienced some natural pigment breakdown.
Previous removal treatments: Previous laser or saline removal can influence how the remaining pigment responds.
Individual response: Your body's natural lymphatic and immune processes help eliminate fragmented pigment following treatment.
MY APPROACH
At Belle Amour Studio, I assess your brows throughout the removal process rather than simply treating them on a fixed schedule. Your skin needs adequate time to recover, and your body needs time to clear the fragmented pigment between sessions.
If your end goal is to have your brows retattooed, we will also consider how much lightening is required to create the best possible foundation for your new cosmetic tattoo.
Remember: Laser brow tattoo removal is a journey, not an overnight fix. My priority is to achieve the best possible result while respecting your skin and your long-term brow goals.
YOUR BROWS. YOUR JOURNEY. A FRESH START.
With 11 years in the cosmetic tattoo industry, my focus is on providing honest advice, realistic expectations and a personalised treatment plan at every stage.
Whether you are correcting old eyebrow tattoos, removing unwanted brow pigment, lightening previous microblading or preparing for a complete brow transformation, I would love to guide you through the process.
Let's create the best possible foundation for your future brows.

Immediately after treatment: The brow area may appear white or frosted (known as frosting). This is a temporary reaction and generally settles within minutes.
Redness: Mild to moderate redness around the treated area is common.
Swelling: Some small localised swelling may occur on some people, only around the brow and forehead area.
Sensitivity: The treated skin may feel warm, tender or similar to mild sunburn.
Pinpoint bleeding: Small pinpoint areas of bleeding may occasionally occur depending on treatment intensity. This is usually only later on in the sessions when we get higher in settings.
Crusting: Tiny crusts may develop as the skin begins to heal.
Pigment changes: The tattoo may initially appear darker, lighter or slightly different in colour as the pigment responds to laser treatment.
Healing: Most superficial skin reactions settle over approximately 5-7 days, although individual healing times vary.

To support healthy skin recovery and minimise complications, please follow these instructions:
Keep the treated area clean and avoid touching or picking at the skin.
Avoid applying makeup, brow products or skincare directly over the treated area until the skin has fully healed.
Do not pick, scratch, peel or forcibly remove any scabbing or crusting.
Avoid swimming pools, spas, saunas and steam rooms until the skin has healed.
Avoid excessive sweating and strenuous exercise for the first 24–48 hours.
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning while the area is healing.
Once the skin has closed and healed, apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily to protect the treated area.
Avoid exfoliating acids, retinoids, active skincare ingredients and harsh cleansers around the treated area until fully healed.
Avoid waxing, threading or other irritating brow treatments while the skin is recovering.
